Low Levels Of Motivation

Some people are just not encouraged or just not encouraged enough. This is hard to understand for individuals who are constantly motivated and label these people as "lazy," "stupid" or "indifferent."

But there are things that can create low levels of motivation that have nothing to do with human wisdom or human laziness. In many cases, low levels of motivation can be treated with the right processes. We know that practice makes an individual perfect, or at least in this, practicing motivation will help you become more motivated in future growth.

Understanding the factors that identity causes low levels of motivation can be divided into four categories: Common beliefs, Behaviors, Personal habits, and health problems.

We will discuss each of them in detail, but do not panic if you feel that you are falling for one. Most people do and those people are still motivated and achieve their goals.

Habitual Beliefs That Affect Motivation Levels

The habitual belief is something you have believed for so long that it seems unthinkable that it could be a lie. You may hear people say something so long that they begin to believe in themselves. These habitual beliefs are so powerful, and it can be very painful to change.

But if you want to increase your motivational levels, you will need to carefully examine some of the beliefs and see if they are causing your lack of motivation. If so, test yourself to see if their theories are true, even if you have held them for so long that you believe they are true.

Let’s take a case study so you can see how the process works. Suppose an overweight person has two beliefs: "I'm ugly" and "I'll always be bad no matter how thin I am." How will that person be motivated to reduce weight?

Uncontrolled Eating

Why would they give up food - which sometimes seems like the only friend they have in the world - is something they believe will never change the way they look.

That’s why habitual beliefs can be the effort behind stopping the motivation environment. But they are not always true. In fact, they are unreasonable even in most cases. In the case of the above example, it is very clear that reducing weight can make almost every obese person look better and healthier, but belief does not focus on those things. It just stops suggesting in its action and turns you into that piece of German chocolate cake in the fridge.

Breaking the Chains of Good Conduct

Normal behavior is different from traditional psychological beliefs because it is not based on a particular belief and is not really grounded, but you have been doing it for so long that it is almost impossible to break the habit. I knew a middle-aged man who started having serious dental problems when he was in his forties.

In fact, growing up, his mother and father not only failed to influence the basic importance of brushing and flossing, they actually did not believe in a modern dentist. As he grew older and realized the importance of brushing, he was encouraged to brush his teeth and flush them daily.

However, despite his strong enthusiasm, he found himself unable to brush. He hadn’t been brushing his teeth for so many years that he had to pay special attention and actually set an alarm twice a day for brushing, a whole month before he could finally make it a hygiene habit.

Normal behavior controls us as a common belief and sometimes we have to take drastic measures to break the habit and create something new that will help us achieve the goal. For example, if your efforts are to reduce weight, but you have never had a habit of exercising (or to put you more accurately in the habit of not exercising) you will find it very hierarchical to do it the first few times and you may need to force yourself to exercise long before the habit is broken.

Personality Quirks

Another source of low motivation comes in the form of human quirks. These are things about you that are not habits or beliefs and that cannot really be changed for your development (although sometimes they can be improved) that affect your motivation in various ways.

Bad Memories
Bad Memories
A very good example of this is a person with a bad memory. This can affect motivation because they cannot remember why they started the business to achieve the goal in the first place. In other words, they have forgotten to achieve the goal.

Health problems

The ultimate source of low motivation is due to increased health problems, either mental or physical.

There are a number of problems that can cause low motivation and often, people go through their entire lives unavailable and unable to achieve their goals or do the things they wanted to do because of this particular problem. Let’s go through them one by one so you can eliminate this as a cause of your low motives.

Depression

Depression is the biggest problem of low motivation when it comes to mental health problems. Depression can make people want to sleep in bed all day and no matter how much they want to achieve their goals, they cannot because of the disease.

Often, a person is diagnosed with depression, putting them on the right anti-depressants is a big step toward helping them achieve their goals. However, keep in mind that even if a person is diagnosed with depression and does not benefit fully from getting the right treatment, he or she will still have many habits that he or she will need to break in order to reach the full potential of his goals.

Low Sugar

People with low blood sugar may have an immune response that makes it challenging to stimulate.

Foods that contain almost completely carbohydrates can cause a lack of efficiency because the blood sugar spike and then crashes, and if this happens for a long time, the approach actually changes, and fatigue sets in. Warnings signs are people who don’t eat breakfast and kept hungry people who drink a whole lot of coffee or lots of energy drinks.

Brain Inflammation

When you have brain inflammation or “brain fog” your neurons are firing slower than normal.

There are all kinds of things that can cause this: autoimmune diseases that target the brain, chronic inflammation, and sensitivity to food.

Hypothyroidism

This is one of the aforementioned autoimmune diseases where the thyroid gland is being destroyed by the immune system.

If you lose your thyroid gland you are going to experience a number of symptoms like chronic fatigue, depression, being unmotivated, and even weight gain.

Sensitivity to Gluten

Not being able to tolerate gluten is a common problem these days and many foods are going gluten-free because of it.

Some of the symptoms of having gluten intolerance, and ingesting gluten anyway include depression and fatigue that can make it difficult to optimal up and do anything.
